Private Capital expert Laetitia Costa joins Fieldfisher's growing Banking & Finance practice

European law firm Fieldfisher has announced the appointment of Laetitia Costa as a partner in its Banking & Finance practice in London. She will bolster the firm's successful bank lending and alternative lender teams that represent banks, funds and private equity firms across the continent.

With over twenty years of finance experience and having worked extensively with private debt fund markets in London and Paris on leveraged finance, real estate and debt restructuring transactions, Laetitia was credited with developing innovative structures in the industry. She is also a leading authority on navigating complex financings and assisting European SMEs and mid cap sponsors with their finance needs.

Dual qualified in English and French laws, Laetitia trained at Freshfields and worked at Ashurst, Allen & Overy and Clifford Chance before her partnerships at Milbank, PWC Legal and Avonhurst in London; working with clients such as Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, Cheyne Capital and Beechbrook Capital. In 2022 she founded Cred22, a lending marketplace for private debt lenders and European SMEs/ mid cap sponsors.
