Frog's partnership with a global educational supplier will see Frog's market-leading, cloud-based Progress solution (including learning spaces, portfolio and learning profiles) integrated with the supplier's software solution.
The combined solution will be rolled out to over 900 schools in Australia and will allow Australian educators to develop their curriculums, assess and review performance beyond the limitations of yearly standards, enabling every teacher to teach every child as if they are the only child in the class.
For over 20 years, Frog has delivered outstanding education through the use of technology and this has ultimately changed the way that schools and teachers teach. This partnership takes this approach one step further.
Working through its Manchester office, Fieldfisher provided a full range of legal support, led by technology outsourcing and privacy partner, Sam Jardine and senior associate, Liam Corrigan.
The support included drafting, negotiation and working with Australian legal counsel, McCullough Robertson (senior associate, Will McCullough).
Fieldfisher partner Sam Jardine said: "This was another great Frog project to be involved with.
"We feel privileged to play our part in facilitating a collaborative and pragmatic negotiation which lays the groundwork for a deal that will ultimately benefit teachers and pupils in Australia".
Michael Wilkinson, deputy managing director of Frog Education, said: “Fieldfisher provided competent and timely advice, enabling us to effectively conclude our legal agreement and therefore secure a business-changing contract in Australia."
