Personal Injury team instructed by injured to investigate Singapore Airlines incident

Fieldfisher's personal injury lawyers are currently supporting several people injured last night when their Singapore Airlines plane hit turbulence on its journey between London and Singapore.

The Boeing 777 jet hit extreme turbulence mid-flight resulting in the death of one passenger and injuries to 71 others. The pilot performed an emergency landing in Bangkok and some of the passengers were taken to local hospitals. Some are seriously injured and all understandably are in shock.

The team is currently investigating the events leading up to the incident. Importantly, those on board who have been injured need help and support to get back home and to access  treatment for the injuries they have sustained.

We offer sincere condolences to the family of Geoff Kitchen who died on board the plane.

If you were a passenger on board and have information that may assist with the investigations, please contact Keith Barrett or Dushal Mehta.
